Miami Bus Charter

FAQ

You Have Questions…..We Have Answers!
We know you have questions regarding chartering a bus from Florida Bus Charter, Inc. so we’ll try and address the most common questions we get asked. If you don’t see the information you need here, please email us or; call us at (954)703-2288 to speak with one of the Travel Advisors on our team, Thank you.
How far in advance should I reserve a bus charter?
Charter bus service does sell out quickly depending on where and when you need the service. Remember, these buses are used all year round by schools, colleges, churches, private groups, corporations and government accounts. So, we suggest booking as soon as you know you’ll need the service. Ask us about our refundable deposits!
What forms of payment are acceptable?
Our company accepts personal, corporate and organizational checks so long as your payment is received 30 days prior to your charter. We also accept; wire transfers, American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover. Please contact us if you need special arrangements for payment as we are very flexible and eager to work with you.
What happens if our bus breaks down during our charter?
Breakdowns in 2014 occurred at a rate of less than 1%. However, if your equipment fails Florida Bus Charter will provide a replacement bus and will work with other bus operators to ensure one is secured if needed. All of the operators used by Florida Bus Charter have more than one coach in their fleet and replacement buses are readily available from them as well as other affiliates of Florida Bus Charter.
Can we bring alcohol on the bus?
Please consult with your account manager regarding this. Florida Bus Charter does not allow alcoholic beverages to be transported and or consumed on the bus.
What happens if we go over time and there are additional charges?
All overtime is billed at the time the service is used. This means you must be able to pay by check or credit card for the service you use in the event you go beyond that of what you have pre-paid. Please check with you account manager for overtime rates and information that may be specific to your charter.
Will I receive a confirmation of my charter?
Each bus charter is contracted in writing. DO NOT EVER CHARTER A BUS FROM ANYONE without getting a complete contract listing the terms and conditions of your charter. If the company “only” sends you an invoice, do not accept the service or pay a deposit as you may lose your money. The contract sent to you by Florida Bus Charter acts as your confirmation. We also suggest you call us 72 hours prior to the charter date to confirm all information with our office dispatcher.
Why are some bus quotes more expensive than others?
That can easily be explained. In the bus charter business you get what you pay for. New motor coach buses can cost upwards of $600,000 dollars. An operator running a 10 year or older bus with very high mileage is not as predictable and is likely to breakdown more often. Florida Bus Charter only uses motor coaches in good to great condition. Florida Bus Charter remains committed to supplying motor coach buses that are well maintained, new, or late model buses. If you receive a quote from Florida Bus Charter that is higher than another quote, let us know. We will check the quote for you and try to negotiate the best price possible for your group with one of our FIVE STAR affiliates.
